RESOUNDING SUCCESS – THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS, GOLFERS, AND VOLUNTEERS
On July 15, 130 golfers teed off at 1:00 PM for a Texas Scramble, winner-takes-all golf tournament at the beautiful and familiar Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club. The weather was perfect, the pace of play smooth, and the day truly unforgettable.
We’re proud to share that the event raised in excess of $37,000, bringing our cumulative total over 29 years to more than $700,000 in support of youth programs through the two New Westminster Rotary Clubs, The Salvation Army, and Purpose Society High School. Your participation is making a real difference!
The 2025 tournament highlights included:
- 130 golfers, 20 volunteers.
- Every hole was sponsored.
- Putting competition and Chip competitions saw some interesting competition.
- On-course photography to capture the memories
Fuel for the day came courtesy of generous supporters: Canada Safeway (McBride), The Boathouse, Boston Pizza, The Salvation Army, and sweet treats at the Candy Bar hosted by The Inn at the Quay.
After the game, golfers enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner in the Mayfair Lakes banquet room, where prizes were awarded.
