Topic: What is Gordon up to now !!
He has been a member of Royal City Rotary for over 10 years and is a past president. In 1987 he married the wonderful and talented Nina and they have two sons Jake and Joey.
Gordon grew up working in his father’s business, Cap’s Bicycles in New Westminster. He continued the Cap’s tradition in New Westminster for twenty years after he purchased the New Westminster location for himself.
Now it is on to a new chapter in his life and today Gordon articulated what the future holds for him. Caution to the listener as there may be an ask to be involved.
An excellent presentation highlighting the history of bikes throughout the years starting with the inception of the bicycle
And how it has evolved over the years
Gord has an excellent selection of vintage bikes and is the process of setting up a bicycle museum . It will be setup under name of Dandy Horse Society Gord will keep the club updated on progress and how club members can participate

Dale – Attended the President Elect Training Seminar . He found it to be very informative and an opportunity to interact with numerous Rotarians.
Kathy - update on To the Heart of the Matter Auction. There are currently 6,000 items up for bid representing approximately $60,000 in value . Auction ends March 9th 2024
Andrew – Reminder of the weekly Bottle Drop program.
