Miss New Westminster 2023
Topic: Jadyn’s Awesome Adventures as Miss New Westminster 2023. Jadyn along with 6 other ambassadors represent our city in numerous local events as well as traveling to numerous fairs and gala events in the surrounding area such as Wenache Washington, Trail B.C. Kamloops, Olympia Washington, Seattle, and Penticton with many more to come
Announcements:
Our club has been invited to a BBQ along with the noon club on August 24t (Tomorrow) at 5pm at Queen’s Park to meet and greet Muki, this year’s exchange student from Austria
Next weeks meeting will be a social at Kelly O’Bryan’s at 6 pm

Nick – Our club has received the Rotary Citation award 2022/2023 for achieving all of our goals for the year . Congratulations to Nick and the club

The Bakers Dozen Hill (Bike)Challenge is being held again this year as a fund raiser for Rotary .The challenge is to successfully ride 13 hills as set out in a predetermine coarse
The challenge takes place Oct 29th . Details to follow- A sheet for volunteer sign up was passed around at the meeting. Anyone wanting to help out can contact Gord

The noon club will again have a tent set up at the farmers market to provide information on Rotary. Volunteers will be needed and dates will be advised via email
Deb – This weekend August 26th the Farewell to Summer Festival will be held outdoors at New Westminster Quay with Fireworks happening at 9,30
