Guest Speaker – Craig Longstaff Managing director of Honour House
Topic – Update on Honour House and Honour Ranch. Honour House is a facility where military and Emergency Service personal and their families can stay at no cost while accessing medical treatment.
Honour House is a home built in 1936 and totally renovated in 2010. It is a 11 bedroom home maintained by a 60 person volunteer base. Funding is provided by donations and fund raisers .
Honour ranch is a 120 parcel of leased land located near Ashcroft . It commenced operation in 2021 and now that Covid restrictions have been lifted offers a variety of programs to assist with wellness and mental well being.. It currently consists of 10 cabins and a lodge. Plans are to purchase the property and add an additional 10 cabins . Approximately one million dollars will be needed.
