Here is part of Steve's presentation to the group. It was such a pleasure to present to you once again, to your members. It would have been nice to see Gloria too...I hope everything is ok. Anyway, for those members that were not able to view my presentation, I have included a few links below; This first one is our interactive Google map where it shows most of the villages we have done projects, including water filters. It is great that you can actually zoom in on the villages themselves and see the huts that they live in, as well as get a better understanding as to how difficult it is to reach some of the mountain villages with the makeshift roads wrapping around the mountains. Also, in many of them, you will see pictures of what we did there. Most of the filters your members sponsored were distributed in Lao Sao so you can look that up on the map - best to look for the village name in the key on the left and click on it - this will highlite the village on the map and you can zoom in on it. I remember we poured rain just before we arrived and there was mud everywhere. Here is the link...https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1RbgoWn6XeX09gV1UgYapHKdjs1PCILZ1&ll=20.403469662584467%2C102.70382906479175&z=18 I have also enclosed our water filter brochure (same as last year) Finally, I have enclosed a link for last seasons video. Despite the drought, hoof and mouth disease and covid, we accomplished more than ever before....https://youtu.be/R2TPS4kATRk Remember, please don't expect perfection with the video...it is very amateur because we don't have the luxury of good audio and lighting conditions, not to mention good equipment. Take Care and I look forward to hearing from Gloria about the possibility of doing something similar to last year. Steve
