Guest Speaker – Glen Bailey Past President of the New Westminster Firefighters Charitable Society
All active firefighters in New Westminster are members. The Registered Charitable Society is run by volunteers who raise funds for community projects and organizations
The current Annual budget is approximately $30,000.00 Major sources of income are 1) Christmas tree shredding 2) Document shredding, 3)Alum hockey game 4) donations .
Some of the organizations supported by the Society are: Paediatric Ward at The Royal Columbian Hospital, The Purpose Society, and Aunt Leah’s Society.
Announcements:
- To the Heart of the Matter – Last day to bid on auction items is Saturday March 4th
- Karoline completed the Coldest night of the Year Walk this past Saturday
- Raised $650.00 Congrats Karoline !
