• Nick we applied for two grants this year Amarok Society and one other. We got both grants a little over $5000. Sunday March 19th is the grant meeting someone needs to go to accept the grant. 

• Quinn HOM raffle is two weeks away, so bring tickets in. 

• Lizz New Westminster innovation week. 

• Gloria reminder to hand in your kind acts!  Have until June 30th.

• Monica registered to go to the North American youth exchange conference in March.  She will bring back notes from her trip.

7:40am: guest speaker. Mike Storey from the Ladner club "adopt a village in Lao".  They provide water filtration systems to remote villages in Lao.  Started by Steve Rutledge.  Filters are lined with silver nitrate which destroys all of the microscopic pathogens. Greatly reduced rates of diarrhea.  They also teach about water hygiene (ie: hand washing).  Haze presented certificate and Wendy took the picture.
