Announcements:
The Monthly Board meeting will be held on Dec 6th to allow our District Governor to attend
-Our Annual General Meeting will also take place on Dec 6th.
- We will again be putting together Christmas Hampers for the men staying at Stevenson House Approximately 14 residents. Stevenson House, provides a safe environment for men suffering from Homelessness and looking to gain assistance while they journey to mental and financial stability
- A list of useful items for the hamper
- T Shirts, warm sweaters
- Boxer shorts
- Socks
- Shaving gear
- Christmas candy
- Deodorant
- Scarf , gloves, mitts
Donated items can be dropped off at our upcoming meetings until Dec 5th
You do not need to donate 14 items donation of single or less than 14 items are welcome

Minutes at the Mic
Kathy – A thank you for all the feedback on Her and Bob’s presentation on the Hockey Pool and other club fundraisers
Kathy provided an update on the proposed bottle drive project headed up by Andrew Hull
- A Drop off location has been secured – Royal towers parking lot
- Strata properties have been identified as a good source for deposit items- Anyone with connections to a strata that may be interested can contact Andrew,
- The project would require a minimum of 5 people per week on Saturdays from 9.30 to 2.30 PM
- More details will be available once the project has received Board approval
- Bob has advised that the Parksville club took in over $130,000 last year from this project.
Nick
- Gave a reminder of the importance of the Rotary foundation and club participation in donations. Our club goal is to have club members donating a minimum of $100.00US each year on average with each member donating a minimum of $25.00 US
- One third of funds donated are returned to the club after 3 years for use in grants . The most recent being a grant received for the coral system at Honour Ranch
Gord – Christmas tree decorations are - - - available in 4 different designs $15.00

Breakfast with Santa is being put on by the Burnaby club Dec 9th at Maywood Club from 7.30 to Noon Volunteers needed contact Neil
