Topic – The Rural Villagers of Laos
Steve spoke to the club on the Walter Filter Program, a program members of our club have participated in for several years . For $125, a family will be provided with a water filter providing purified water for a family of 8 for several years. A leaflet was provided with a description of the program and information on how to participate in the program.

Kathy – To the Heart of the Matter 1st meeting for this fundraiser scheduled for after our Sept 20th meeting We are looking for a co-chair to assist Wendy Wendy Scott.

Muki our exchange student from Austria has arrived. Members are encouraged to include Muki in family/sporting and entertainment events Muki enjoys sports, Chess, and Reading
Lizz Grant funds have been applied for construction on a corral system at Honour Ranch. We are anticipating receiving approximately $6,000, 75% of requested funds. Lizz is organizing a tour of the Honour House Ranch in the coming months . More information to come next week .

Harp has agreed to assist with keeping the records for the Hockey Pool and Rick Janssen will entering the data into the system .
